Bibles
Copy of Good News Reader for each child (include extras for visitors)
Classroom pack items: Teaching pictures, Bible memory poster, “Come, travel with Paul” poster, “Living the good news together” poster and cutouts, Missionary map, and Stoplight card
Welcome table items: loaf of bread, cup, candle, matches, bag of rough stones, bag of polished stones, cross, and globe or world map
Gather ’Round CD and CD player
Hymnals
Pencils with erasers, colored pencils, markers, crayons, and oil pastels
Lined and unlined white paper
Card stock
Colored construction paper and other colored paper
Easel paper, flipchart, chalkboard, or whiteboard (The sessions refer to easel paper. Use whatever is most accessible to you so that everyone can see what’s been written.)
Index cards
Masking and transparent tape
Scissors (including left-handed)
White glue, glue sticks, and glitter glue
Hole punch and stapler
String, yarn, and ribbon

Clay or play dough

Session one: The “Prayer helps me focus on God” Responding activity calls for jars or other containers about the size of a jelly jar (one jar per child).
Session eight: The “Helping others share the good news” Responding activity calls for cans with plastic lids, such as empty coffee, nut, or baking powder cans (one can per child). Cut a slit into each lid.
