Bibles (your own, open and accessible, as well as a set for the room)
Copy of Call for each person (include extras for visitors)
Bible memory poster (from classroom pack) and other classroom pack items
Gather ’Round CD and CD player
Hymnals
Easel paper, flipchart, chalkboard, or whiteboard (The sessions refer to easel paper. Use whatever is most accessible to you so that everyone can see what’s been written.)
Session one: Recording of the song, “Be Thou My Vision.” One possibility is a hidden track on the Rebecca St. James CD, Pray . (Optional for Gather ’round.)
Session two: The Sound of Music movie (1965). (Optional for Gather ’round.) Picture of Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper.” (Optional for Connect to the story.)
Session three: Recording of St. Matthew Passion , by J. S. Bach, or other music about Jesus’ suffering and death. (For Gather ’round.)
Session eight: Mission : Impossible movie or music soundtrack (1996). (Optional for Responding.)
Session thirteen: Guide dog trainer or guide dog user to come and speak. If this is not possible in your setting, find books or movies about guide dogs. (For Responding.)
