Junior Youth supplies, Winter 2009–10
Keep these supplies on hand throughout the quarter. Supplies for Responding options are listed in each session.
- Bibles (your own, open and accessible, as well as a set for the room)
- Copy of Call for each person (include extras for visitors)
- Resource pack items: Bible memory poster, Advent poster, Character signs,
“Names for Jesus” poster, “Good news” calendar, “Loaf of bread” mini-poster
- Gather ’Round CD, CD player
- Hymnals
- Small worship table
- Four Advent candles and evergreens, tea-light
candles, matches or lighter
- Easel paper, flip chart, chalkboard, or whiteboard
(the sessions refer to easel paper; use whatever is
most accessible so that everyone can see what’s been written)
- Lined and unlined white paper
- Colored paper, colored construction paper
- Index cards, sticky notes, card stock
- Markers, colored pencils, crayons, pens, pencils
- Glue sticks, tape, sticky tack
- Scissors

Session 1: Three to five empty plastic bottles (such as empty water bottles)
