Connect contains weekly Bible study sessions and discussion of parenting themes, with daily meditations voiced to parents. This book is suitable for group or individual study.
The section, “At home with God: Daily devotions for busy parents” follows each weekly session. It offers daily scripture readings, meditations, and prayers on the weekly texts. Each meditation has a parenting focus.
Each weekly session also contains a Bible insight essay. These essays are designed enrich group time together, providing resources for thought and discussion.
Each week, all Gather ’Round age groups focus on the same Bible story. These stories are read or retold in age-appropriate ways. Sometimes the Bible text is abridged, particularly for younger children. Use Connect at home to delve into these stories yourself and to discuss them with the children and youth in your care.
